Microids opens a new office in China

Paris, November 23rd 2021 – Within the past few years, Microids has been conducting a unique successful publishing strategy making the company one of the industry leaders. With more than 85% of its revenue coming from sales outside of France and with a growth of more than 50% year to year in the past 4 years, Microids wishes to continue with its expansion strategy internationally. Best known for its adventure games, the French publisher has recently diversified its portfolio around 4 pillars: Adventure, racing, retro gaming and well known IP titles. Microids offers this year its biggest line-up to date with titles like Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First CasesThe Smurfs: Mission VileafMarsupilami: HoobadventureAsterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! as well as Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Ultimate Edition and new entries in the My Universe label like Puppies & KittensInterior Designer and Doctors & Nurses. 

Microids is proud to announce the opening of a new office in China with the objective of carrying on with its regional activities initiated 3 years ago. The establishment of this new structure is part of a growth strategy and will conduct the following main activities: distribution of the publisher’s video games and new partnerships with local publishers and studios. Microids China is already represented by Wenbin Zhang, working closely with Yves BléhautSenior VP Strategic Partnerships for Microids.
