Microïds opens the Microïds Shop
November 5, 2008 – Microïds, one of the leading adventure games producers and publishers, is opening today the Microïds Shop on the Web.
As of today, the Microïds Shop embraces 50 video games:
• The original Microïds games: the Still Life and Syberia series, the Dracula trilogy, and famous adventure hits like Sokal’s Amerzone and Sinking Island
• Cryo games: Microïds announced on October 20 the acquisition of the whole Cryo catalogue and brands. Egypt 3 will be available shortly on the Microïds Shop and the rest of the Cryo games will join the Microïds Shop in the near future
• Famous games from prestigious partners: adventure games from JoWooD Group and Nobilis enter the Microïds Shop catalogue, like Secrets of Da Vinci, Secrets of Atlantis or the Agatha Christie titles.
To celebrate the launch of its Shop, Microïds offers a 15% discount during 2 weeks on its entire catalogue.
All Microïds games on the Shop are now XP and Vista compatible, including the back catalogue titles.
The Microïds Shop allows gamers across the world to download their favorite games at any time, in a secure, fast and 100% legal way. The video games are downloaded in their complete version; they include all patches when necessary and the games manuals (in pdf format).
Available in English and French as a starter, the Microïds Shop offers buy-and-download solutions in US dollards, Euros and pounds.
After few months of experiments on the digital games business with its former online store (opened in December 2007), the Microïds team is proud to launch this powerful and perfectly tuned new Shop.
