Microïds acquires the Cryo catalogue and brands
October 20, 2008 – Microïds today announced the company acquired the intellectual rights of the former Cryo video games catalogue as well as the Cryo brands.
Microïds was already a world’s leading adventure games publisher. Today the company
enriches its catalogue with all games which made Cryo’s success: the famous historical
adventure games series like “Atlantis”, “Jules Verne” (Return to Mysterious Island, Journey to the Center of the Moon and Secrets of Nautilus) and “Egypt”, but also games like Hellboy, Salammbo or Thorgal. With this acquisition, Microïds becomes an inescapable adventure
games publisher.
