What is a RSS?

The RSS (for Really Simple Syndication or RDF Site Summary) are feeds listing the contents made available by websites, which contain short titles, and allow with a single click to get to the corresponding full text. They are updated automatically on the screen of your computer without you needing to connect to the original website. Some information are available in the form of XML files updated in real time. The purpose of these files is to provide information in a structured manner, so that other servers can recover it and perform redistribution.

Why is this useful?

You just have to install on your computer a video podcast player and copy there the URL of the content you want to receive. You can then watch the file directly on your computer or take itwith you on your portable video player.

How to subscribe?
